Description
The Fee Assistance Program, offered by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), provides financial assistance to individuals so that they can afford to take the MCAT, apply to medical schools and fulfill other obligations that are needed to become a physician. Without the Program, these individuals would find it impossible or nearly impossible to apply to medical school. Some of the financial assistance provided includes: free MCAT preparation products, reduced MCAT exam costs, a free 2-year subscription to the Medical School Admission Requirements online database and waived fees for one application submission through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) which covers submissions to up to 20 medical schools.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
