Description
The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) has a "pathways approach" to delivering education and professional development for its members. The "pathways approach" groups content and curriculum together on three different tracks for emergency department (ED) nurses who are at different stages in their career. Each pathway includes mentorship, educational offerings and a year of ENA membership. The first pathway is Clinical Practice - Novice which is designed for new nurses & improves their knowledge and competencies caring for pediatric, adult and geriatric ED patients. The second pathway is Clinical Practice - Competent which is for nurses to build their competency and skills in caring for advanced / severe ED patients. The third pathway is the ED Nurse Leadership Pathway which is for nurses who are new to leadership roles or who want to be in leadership roles to build their HR management, operations and professional knowledge & skills.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
