In collaboration with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), Michigan Health Council (MHC) is pleased to share Career Navigator Guides for healthcare professions. These guides are intended to be a resource for school counselors and other career professionals interested in helping high school students explore a career in healthcare.

Each guide includes four main sections:

1. Assess - where students can be prompted to determine whether their career interests are well-aligned with the profession.

2. Explore - where students can explore whether the career is a good fit for them and what the educational pathway would look like.

3. Decide - a section dedicated to planning and logistics, including education programs and financial planning.

4. Go - final reminders and resources to provide students with as they begin their first steps toward a career in healthcare.
