Description
Medicaid is now covering and reimbursing outpatient behavioral health services provided by graduates of master's and doctoral-level psychology, social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy programs who have completed all requirements for a limited or temporary license but have not yet received their license. Medicaid covers and reimburses services for one year from the date that they completed their program. This expansion allows behavioral health program graduates to start providing services for Medicaid patients right away.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
