Description
This is a state-wide program facilitated by WIN and developed with the participation of several healthcare employers and community colleges. MWTech, chief nursing officers of participating employers, and the State Board of Nursing partnered to develop the technical training part of the program. West Shore Community College has taken ownership of the program, and thirty-two (32) seats were added to the college's nursing program. Programs' technical training is available online throughout the state, and lab work can be completed online and over simulation. This program is designed both to tackle the LPN shortage state-wide and offer a career ladder to the incumbent CNAs employed to become LPNs.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
