Description
Grand Rapids Community College offers a certificate program for Direct Support Professions to elevate DSP to be comparable to CNA. This program complements the IMPART Alliance Train-The Trainer (T3) program. A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is someone who works directly with people who have physical, intellectual or developmental disabilities. DSPs aim to support people in realizing their full potential. They assist people in becoming integrated and engaged in their community or the least restrictive environment.
