Description
The EMT to Paramedic Pathway is a partnership between Jackson College and the Emergent Health (EH) paramedic program. EMT-basic students from Jackson College can get direct admittance to the paramedic program, where part of their education is eligible for funding by Michigan Works!. As another component, EH paramedic students and others who have completed a paramedic and earned their credential have the opportunity to articulate 33 college credits toward Jackson College's Associate Degree of Applied Science - Allied Health. The purposes of this partnership are to increase the number of EMTs that are certified as paramedics and to encourage paramedics to earn an associate degree.
Michigan Health Council does not administer all of the programs in this database. Please see the "organizations involved" above to learn who you should contact for more information.
