Description
University of Michigan-Flint received a grant of over $1 million to create a program whose goal is to increase access to psychiatric mental health/behavioral health services for the medically underserved population in Flint. The program will fund 22 Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practictioner (PMHNP) students who are in longitudinal clinical training preceptorships in underserved, primary care settings. Eligible students must be from Flint or surrounding communities.
