Michigan Health Council (MHC) is pleased to share the latest addition to the MHC Implicit Bias series, titled “Implicit Bias: Poverty”. In this video, we discuss biases around people living in poverty, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, social determinants of health, criminal justice, and working class work.
The MHC Implicit Bias Series is a collection of free learning modules intended to address biases around race, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic status, age, and other demographic groups who often fall through the cracks of healthcare systems.
You may view the entire collection, including the first two modules, in ACEMAPP. Simply create a new account or log in to your existing account at acemapp.org. Search the “implicit bias” tag in the Library to show all available modules in the series.
If you have any questions regarding the series or your ACEMAPP account, please contact our support team at [email protected] or 844-223-4292.
